Horse riding

"La Landelle" lies between Baugé and Saumur at the crossroads of the forests of Chandelais and Monnaie. Here horse lovers, whether beginners or experienced riders, can go for rides in small groups of up to 6 people, according to level, in complete safety.

The Centre also offers lessons for beginners in the school, courses for all levels and can arrange for French Equestrian Federation (FFE) exam to be taken. There are also one or two-day rides which will allow you to discover the country side around Baugé and the Loire Valley.

The Equestrian Center is open every week end and also during the week by appointment. We guarantee you a complete change of scenery in relaxing and secure surroundings.

The welcome given to riders, whatever their level, is very important as it greatly influences their view of riding. Well schooled horses, good quality tack, and equipement and pleasant surroundings and organisation by fully-qualified staff are the trump cards of our equestrian center, which is dedicated to a common passion : horsemanship.

The beginners riders will already have been prepared and the time is used for a theory class where the main safety rules are explained. Basic instruction is given on the best way to lead a horse, to take it in the school and out on a ride.
